Join me for a walking tour through the beautiful Manx countryside to see the landscapes that inspired Archibald Knox’s work. These immersive walks offer a sensory experience allowing you to feel and apreciate the essence of Knox’s artistry. Along the way, you’ll gain unique insights into his life and legacy, with plenty of time to pause, take in breathtaking views, and connect deeply with the surroundings much as he did.

This walk takes us through the picturesque village of Laxey, from the harbour and beachfront, to the ancient stones of King Orry’s Grave, and up the valley to the iconic Laxey Wheel.

Walking Terrain: Roads through the village and footpaths

Distance; Approximately 5 miles

Total ascent: 1000 feet – this includes the hill up to King Orry’s Grave (optional) and walking up to Laxey wheel.
