The view south from Maughold Head
North eastern walks include the remote Maughold Point, Cashtal Yn Ard stone circle and the historic mining village of Laxey.
From Maughold Head we can follow the Raad Ny Follan north to Port Lewaigue and south to Port Mooar where there are often seals.
Ballaglas Glen is a beautiful, gentle walk.
There are challenging hill walks in the north of the Island that may be tied in with a ride on the Manx Electric Railway which climbs from Laxey to the summit of Snaefell Mountain.
