This walk starts from St Luke’s church, the highest on the island, with spectacular views of West Baldwin valley, and Colden and Carraghan hills. The walk includes a visit to the ancient site of the Manx parliament in the form of a stone circle known as Killabane. The site was believed to have been last used as the site of Tynwald in 1428.  We will walk down into the valley between Colden and Carraghan and alongside the reservoir which was created in 1905. The route goes beyond Injebreck reservoir,  around a hairpin and uphill to where  the view of Colden is much as shown in the Knox watercolour below.​​​​​​​
